PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2013 TIPS
INTRO
This is a initiative to try and help make progress in my gameplay and helping others with tips.
Let's all admit that we DO NOT like the original PES game because of the fake team and player names so to change that I personally use PES EDIT team patches to improve the display.

MY GAMEPLAY
In the previous section I tried to explain that I like playing PES as close to the original game. The gameplay is something that I like very much and I find it very close to the original football game. Just by trying out Barcelona or Real Madrid or other teams you can come to my conclusion as well. (as long as you have watched real matches recently)
I usually play with medium/low level teams. I believe that those are the teams that help you learn the details that make your gameplay better and you can notice the ways you pass, dribble, shoot and cross in the perfect manner. Something I was disappointed about the new PES is that we cannot play anymore in Leagues. That was the only way we could compare our strengths in a championship with our real life friends. I used to play with my brother with low level teams in every league and tried to take the best out of them. That way we improved our gameplay and found out more characteristics about the players. This is something I would like to emphasize: Every player has its own characteristic and we should use that to the best. It was even in other PES games, but in PES13 it is more obvious due to the Player ID Konami has developed. You will find their characteristics in other pages.
I started the first Master League (old players use old terms) in Bundesliga since the first patch I got, PESEDIT 2.1, had replaced the second division with Bundesliga 2. I played long before discovering that I could switch it to other second divisions like, Liga Adelante or N power Championship. The latest patches include even Serie B and Ligue 2 (only 10 teams). Thus I started other two Master Leagues because I'm a freak. I started the first Master League with Bayer Leverkusen. The initial team was horrible and that was the reason i started with B04. Since I had played a couple of games before, with many difficulties I managed to win the Bundesliga, but not the deutch Pokal. After years of struggling, i created a team, a great team actually where you couldn't see any other color in the first formation but red. Then i played and won everything possible. Suddenly it wasn't a challenge anymore. I set them on sale, but since I play with low activity in market, only one player was sold at a great fee (which wasn't interested in because I had a budget with 10 digits). I couldn't sell the others so I set them on release. I started with a brand new team, which was the second formation and started buying players from the youth team. It was year 2020 and I couldn't win any cups and I barely won some matches with the toughest teams around. There I paused and started the new Master Leagues, since i started discovering new features I could play with. Anyhow, I discovered one interesting detail from ML, which is: NO MATTER HOW WEAK YOUR PLAYERS ARE, WINNING MAKES THEM BETTER!! My players used to be below 80 and they reached crazy averages like 100 and more. So I would advice if you start a ML, do not immediately sell the old and seemingly lazy players. Try them out the first half of the season or the entire season. You might get used to their playing characteristics and eventually they will become better.
What I do not like in Football Life is the awards given, Best European player and the best World Player. These awards are given only to the players with the best average. Messi always wins the first 5 or more years. Then in my FL won Cesc Fabregas for one year and after him Hazard won consecutively. Only the third place in World Player is taken by some random player with no merit but at least doesn't have the third highest average. I believe the Best European player should be chosen from the winning team of Champions League or the worst case scenario from the runner-up and the World Player by mixing the cups won and ratings in the games played. I really would like someone to fix this "bug".
